In the heart of Tinghir Province, the Bougafer Association for Development and Solidarity, in collaboration with the Nif Commune, has organized a lively collective wedding festival, merging tradition, solidarity, and community support.

The event, held to preserve cultural heritage, brought together local couples, residents, and members of the Moroccan diaspora to celebrate traditional marriage customs. In a challenging economic climate, the initiative eased the financial burden on young couples while strengthening community ties.

“These are our authentic traditions, celebrated with pride and honor,” said one participant. “It’s an event of tolerance and solidarity.”

The celebration featured traditional Amazigh music, symbolic gift-giving, and vibrant performances, making the day a joyful celebration of cultural identity. Organizers believe the festival plays a crucial role in preserving heritage and fostering shared values for future generations.
