MTN Ghana has been crowned the overall winner of the MTN Group’s 2025 Million Dollar Challenge, standing out as the top‑performing operating company across the pan‑African telecommunications group. The achievement was announced at the MTN Global Leadership Gathering (GLG) 2026, where leaders from across the MTN footprint gathered to celebrate innovation, strong execution, and strategic growth.
The Million Dollar Challenge is a flagship internal competition designed to accelerate performance and strategic delivery across key business segments. MTN Ghana’s success reflects exceptional results in Connectivity for both Enterprise and Consumer markets, as well as leadership in Fintech, led by its Mobile Money unit, MoMo Ghana.
In total, MTN Ghana secured six major awards, underscoring its strong market execution, operational excellence and ability to scale digital platforms that create value for customers. The company’s performance was widely praised by MTN executives, who said it sets a benchmark for excellence within the group.
