Africa’s top strategy professionals, policymakers, and business leaders are set to convene in Kampala this October for the IASP Africa Regional Conference 2025.

The two-day event, organized by the International Association for Strategy Professionals (IASP) in collaboration with its Uganda and Nigeria Chapters, will be held at the Imperial Royale Hotel on October 30–31, 2025.

Under the theme "Shaping Africa’s Future Through Strategies for Inclusive Growth, Digital Transformation, and Sustainable Development," the conference will delve into key challenges impacting Africa’s growth and development. It aims to provide a platform for strategic dialogue and offer actionable insights on navigating these issues with excellence.

Participants will discuss strategies to build economic resilience, create opportunities for Africa’s expanding youth population, and leverage digital transformation and sustainability to foster long-term growth ultimately working towards the Africa we envision.

Innocent M. Agaba, president of the IASP Uganda Chapter, emphasized the significance of the event, pointing out the transformative shifts occurring across Africa’s economic, social, and technological landscapes, which demand focused and cooperative strategies for sustainable growth.

"Africa has the talent, ambition, and ideas to lead in innovation and growth. What we need now are intentional strategies and partnerships to turn potential into tangible impact. This conference is the ideal space to explore transformative strategies that will accelerate progress toward the African Union's Agenda 2063 and deepen regional economic integration," he said. Dr. Samuel Aikhuomogbe, president of the IASP Nigeria Chapter, echoed these sentiments, stressing the need for cross-border collaboration.

"This is more than just a conference it’s a call to action. By aligning our efforts, we can unlock Africa’s full potential and position the continent as a global leader in innovation and sustainable development," he remarked.

The conference will feature keynote addresses from global and regional leaders in strategy and innovation, as well as panel discussions and workshops offering practical tools and insights for participants.

Attendees will also have opportunities to network with peers, sponsors, and exhibitors, fostering collaboration and partnerships across sectors and regions.
